Welcome to my home page. I am an acoustic guitarist from

Albuquerque,

New Mexico. I play acoustic instrumental

arrangements in a variety of

styles, including: Classical, Brazilian

Jazz, Celtic, Spanish/Flamenco,

Fusion

(a blend of Jazz and Rock)

and Ambient.

I have several hours of instrumental arrangements, mostly my

original

compositions. I use both a classical nylon string Spanish

guitar and

a steel

string guitar in alternate tunings. I usually play as

a soloist

but sometimes

lay in duets

with other musicians.

My style of guitar playing is often referred to as "fingerstyle guitar",

which is a technique that usually involves playing the melody,

harmony,

chords, bass lines, and additional added color of a song

all at the same

time.

My music is influenced by many different cultures and therefore my

overall

style is sometimes referred to as World Fusion, Relaxation

Music, Adult

Contemporary or New Acoustic Music. What is

central in the creation of

mood or atmosphere. The music

generally creates calm and space to think.

Instrumental music

often paints a picture in your mind and can take you on

imaginary journey into your imagination.

Instrumental guitar music is perfect for many occasions, such as

background

ambi

nce at dinner parties and restaurants, weddings

and

receptions,

Business receptions, art galleries, house concerts

and patio

parties, and

more. However, Instrumental Acoustic

Guitar is more than

simply background

music and can also be

great concert music especially

when Fingerstyle Guitar

techniques are used, such as altered tunings, harmonic slaps and

two

handed

tapping.

Instrumental acoustic guitar creates a mood that will enhance any

atmosphere

and people can easily have conversations over the

music

without having to

raise their voices. The music can be either

actively

listened to or used as

background music depending on

whether the

listener chooses to pay attention

or not. Live

instrumental music helps

stimulate conversations and an

experienced musician can flow with the moods and volume levels

of their

audience and enhance the mood by raising or lowering the

volume and

rhy

of the music as the room noise gets louder or

softer.
